Confirmation Statement

Each year, all limited companies and LLPs are required to submit a Confirmation Statement to Companies House. Platinum One Accountants can assist you with submitting your Confirmation Statement, which is a record of key company information. This data must be submitted by a set date each year.

Confirmation Statements are sent to the Companies House, where they are filed and made publicly available: anyone can verify the details and legitimacy of any UK company. It is a record of general information about your company, including the address of your registered office, details of your directors, secretary, shareholders and share capital.

Confirmation Statement Services:

All UK companies limited by shares or limited by guarantee (Ltd or Limited), limited liability partnerships (LLPs), community interest companies (CICs) and public limited companies (PLC) must submit a Confirmation Statement each year. Whether a company is dormant or active, it must still file a Confirmation Statement. Sole traders and ordinary partnerships are not required to file a Confirmation Statement.

If you do not deliver your company’s Confirmation Statement on time, the Registrar may incorrectly assume that your company is no longer trading as a business. They could take steps to strike you from the Register.
